Paris, France VFT: The Geography of Paris
Why am I going to waste an entire page on
the geography of Paris? Well first of all, it isn't a waste of a page
and second, learning about the geography of any city can be very
interesting (if you don't believe me then read this page and see if you
still feel the same way).
The geography of an area is where it is
located, the place, the region, how did people get there and how humans
and their environment affect each other. Paris.fr has
a page that talks about the geography of Paris. I had a link to
paris.fr in my History of Paris page. For any who might not have seen
my History of Paris page paris.fr is a French website that has an
English section, blogs, politics (of France), and many other cool
features that you can look at. When I read about the geography of Paris
I thought it was cool that the Pont-Neuf (if you were paying attention
you would have seen that paris.fr said that the Pont-Neuf is the oldest
bridge in Paris) dates back to 1604.

Paris.fr had some cool information but there is always more to learn. When looking for more information I found out that britannica.com
(another website visited in my History of Paris page) talks about the
climate of Paris (climate being another part of geography). Britannica
is an online encyclopedia and can be helpful for students, adults, or
anyone that wants to know more about practically anything.

Now I want to talk more about the environment and how it affects the Parisians. Nationsencyclopedia.com
talks about the environment in Paris. Nationsencyclopedia.com is a
website with a ton of information for about 193 countries. You may
notice when you read the page on nationsencyclopedia.com there isn't
much positive information that they discuss but you also shouldn't
forget that there are good things about Paris' environment.
